¿Por qué quieres casarte para siempre?

La semana pasada hice algunos comentarios en mis historias sobre unas imagenes que encontré en una página de Instagram, esta imagen superior la subí con la leyenda «LOL» lo cuál despertó controversia.

Me preguntaron que si estoy en contra del matrimonio, que si creo que una pareja para toda la vida es algo imposible y algunas recomendaciones de que deje de proyectar mis desilusiones amorosas.

En sí la imagen no dice mucho pero el texto vale la pena reflexionarlo un poco.

Lo primero es que esta imagen se origina de una cuenta de Instagram que enaltece el amor tóxico y las creencias nocivas del amor, ya sabes esta idea de que la mujer esta incompleta y vale poco hasta que encuentra a un hombre que la haga ser y valer.

El público cautivo de esta cuenta son personas inseguras con creencias muy nocivas del amor que encuentran muy romántica la idea de estar con alguien hasta el final, en el fondo no tiene nada de romántico pues lo que realmente busca la persona es seguridad, sentirse valorada y especial. Te quiero toda mi vida conmigo para que me hagas sentir bien, para que me hagas feliz. No es difícil darse cuenta que eso no es amor, es miedo.

Pero si sacamos la imagen del contexto mencionado y se la mostramos a mujeres random entonces la situación cambia, se genera controversia y vale la pena reflexionar.

No se trata de bien o mal, se trata de cuestionarnos nuestras creencias.

Si quieres casarte y estar eternamente con esa persona la pregunta obligada es ¿Por qué quieres eso? ¿Es un deseo propio, es algo que tu decidiste o son el cúmulo de creencias que llevas cargando que te hacen creer que ese es el camino?

Una cosa es nuestra imaginación, ilusiones y deseos y otra la realidad. Una persona que se casa con la ilusión de que sea para siempre, sin engaños ni mentiras es una persona ilusa, porque la realidad cuenta que la probabilidad de infidelidad es muy alta, la de divorcio también y la de una vida de pareja «feliz» para toda la vida es mínima (no lo digo yo, es la realidad). 

¿Esto significa que la gente no debe de casarse? No, para nada, significa que la gente que se casa tiene que hacerlo sabiendo que el divorcio, infidelidad etc, es una probabilidad muy grande.

¿Por qué? Imagínate si en cada relación que entramos lo hacemos con la mentalidad de que se puede terminar y que si así pasa estaremos bien, imagínate todo el sufrimiento que nos ahorraríamos, no habría tanto apego, tanto abuso tanta violencia. La voluntad humana es algo impresionante, entonces si tu te casas con la idea de que esa persona es tuya para siempre, te vas autodestruir intentando que así sea. 

¿Estoy en contra del amor? No, estoy en contra la de dependencia emocional y soy fan del amor, pero el de verdad.

¿Cuál es el amor de verdad? Es estar con tu pareja por gusto, no por miedos ni carencias, por puro gusto, estoy contigo porque me gusta estar contigo, no porque necesito estar contigo porque me siento incompleta sin ti. El amor de verdad es abrazar mi libertad y aceptar la tuya, pues si en algún momento nuestros caminos se separan ¿quién soy yo para detenerte u obligarte a quedarte conmigo?

Entonces ¿por qué quieres lo que quieres? ¿Por qué quieres un matrimonio eterno? ¿Cómo puedes asegurar que lo que hoy quieres lo vas a querer en 5 años, o en 10, 20, 30? 

No puedes asegurarlo y mucho menos puedes asegurar lo que otra persona va a querer en 5,10,20,30 años, es un sinsentido intentarlo.

La idea de esta reflexión no es intentar que la gente no se case, es intentar que la gente se cuestione porque se quiere casar, muchas veces te puedes encontrar que tu deseo de casarte viene del miedo, la carencia, sentido de insuficiencia, presión social, creencias del tipo «la mujer vale más cuando esta casada», «la mujer vale más cuando es madre».

Sin duda el tema da para más, pero quiero cerrar con esta frase: Personas carentes hacen matrimonios carentes, personas abundantes hacen matrimonios abundantes.
